This weekend is the end of Daylight Savings Time, which means you need to "fall back" an hour on your clock, provided that Uncle Sam didn't screw up and get you last weekend.
Along with the time change, the Salt Lake City Fire Department and Energizer want to remind you to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. In fact, if you head down to your local (Salt Lake CITY) fire station between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, they'll give you free batteries and check the detectors to be sure they're working properly. Other local fire departments may be participating, as well. You'll need to check with them to find out for certain.
